Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead for North Texas divisions, overseeing a Recruiter team and direct recruitment of critical roles. You will drive workforce planning, strategy alignment with business leaders, and a strong candidate experience across the Carrollton and North TX offices.

The role requires 7–10 years in full-cycle recruitment, a Bachelor's degree, and proven people leadership.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment and workforce planning.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience with accountability for team's performance.

Responsibilities

• Set clear goals for each Recruiter, balance requisitions, and ensure delivery with excellent candidate experience.
• Lead regular coaching and performance reviews tied to hiring goals and SLAs.
• Operate as a player-coach by handling critical requisitions during surges to maintain capacity.
• Build relationships with senior division leaders and align recruiting plans with business needs.
• Drive process improvements and a recruit-trajectory roadmap to scale with demand.
• Partner with centralized sourcing to reach specialized technical talent and keep pipelines healthy.
• Streamline workflows using the TA tech stack (CRM, ATS) to reduce time-to-fill without sacrificing quality.
• Track hiring metrics and use data to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Collaborate with HRBPs and broader HR teams on talent initiatives and onboarding.
• Build partnerships across divisions, Hiring Managers, Marketing, Legal, and corporate teams.
• Share standards and best practices with peers to evolve Central Region TA strategy.
• Develop deep business driver understanding and maintain a strong talent network for future needs.
• Expected travel: 30%.
