Job summary

Neighborly Software in Atlanta, GA is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our growing People team. The role will focus on recruiting—supporting the full lifecycle from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and delivering a great candidate experience.

As we scale, you’ll also back up onboarding, employee records, and other People initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build recruiting expertise while developing into a well-rounded

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in a staffing agency, corporate talent acquisition, or a broader HR/People Operations role
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, etc.) is a plus
• Basic understanding of sourcing techniques (Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter) is a plus
• Passion for connecting people with great career opportunities, with genuine interest in growing into broader HR generalist work

Responsibilities

• Recruiting (primary focus)
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and other channels
• Screen resumes and assist with initial video screens to assess qualifications and fit
• Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS, Ashby
• Draft and post job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers
• Communicate with candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience
• Support employer branding efforts (career page content, social media)
• Assist with offer letter preparation and pre-employment processes (background checks, assessments)
• Continuously look for ways to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience
• General HR Support (as we scale)
• Support new hire onboarding, including paperwork and systems setup
• Help maintain accurate employee records and HR data in UKG Ready
• Assist with day-to-day employee questions on policies, benefits, and HR processes
• Help coordinate logistics for training and company events
