Job summary

High Country Line Construction is hiring a T&D Associate Estimator I to support cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects. The role is part of a robust training program designed to develop estimating skills across utility infrastructure.

You will work with customers, subcontractors, and field teams to capture constructability factors and produce accurate estimates. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in Excel, strong analytical abilities, and excellent

• Familiarity with cost estimation processes and documents.
• Comfort with analyzing drawings, specs, and proposals to prepare estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing complete cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Plan and execute work to meet submission deadlines.
• Attend field walks with customers and teams to determine constructability.
• Travel for on-site pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Perform take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparation.
