Job summary

High Country Line Construction, Inc. seeks a T&D Estimator I to prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects. You will analyze electrical drawings, develop estimates, and coordinate with vendors and field teams to ensure competitive bids and profitability.

The role emphasizes accuracy, time management, and collaboration within a safety-focused, IBEW-affiliated company with opportunities for field visits and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in analyzing construction and electrical drawings to accurately formulate an estimate.
• Knowledgeable of electrical materials and methods of installation.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete cost estimates for assigned projects with defined work tasks.
• Develop complex estimates with minor errors/omissions.
• Track project histories to produce up-to-date man hours and costs.
• Prepare billing per customer requirements and execute change orders.
