Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. seeks an engineer to provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system through development, deployment, and sustainment.

The role demands MBSE expertise with Cameo or similar tools and active involvement in requirements verification and TPMs. The successful candidate will manage internal program requirements, analyze DOORS data modules, and prepare system-qualification reports, coordinating with the Prime Contractor and USAF SPO to align with government intent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment, and sustainment.
• Act as a trusted partner to a digital engineering-driven Air Force organization.
• Perform requirements verification activities, including Risk Management, and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
• Manage internal program requirements.
• Analyze DOORS data modules and CAMEO/SysML models.
• Prepare critical reports for System Qualification.
• Serve as a key interface with the Prime Contractor to ensure alignment with U.S. Government intent regarding requirements products and artifacts.
• Consult regularly with the USAF System Program Office (SPO) on stakeholder needs.

• Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training: * Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required * Master's Degree preferred Experience: * 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree
• Direct experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems preferred
• Experience with MBSE and Dassault's Cameo or other MBSE tools (Rhapsody, etc.) preferred
• Experience with Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) preferred
• Experience with Risk Management preferred
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS preferred
• Experience with SysML preferred
• Security: * Must be a US citizen
• Active Secret clearance with willingness/ability to obtain a Top Secret required
• Candidates with Top Secret clearance will be given preference
• Physical Requirements: * Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

• Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
