Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. seeks a qualified professional to join a high-performing team providing direct support to a national security-critical weapon system through engineering development, deployment, and sustainment.

The role emphasizes MBSE, SysML, TPMs, and risk management, with experience in DOORS and Cameo. US citizenship and an active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred) are required; Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.
• 3+ years with Bachelor's degree; 2+ years with Master's degree.
• US citizen required; active Secret clearance with willingness to obtain Top Secret; Top Secret preferred.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo or MBSE tools; TPMs and Risk Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment, and sustainment.
• Perform requirements verification activities, including Risk Management and TPMs.
• Serve as a key interface with the Prime Contractor to align with U.S. Government intent regarding requirements artifacts.
• Consult with the USAF System Program Office on stakeholder needs.
• Analyze DOORS data modules and CAMEO/SysML models.
• Prepare critical reports for System Qualification.

Expertise and Functions

• Join a high-performing team within a mission-focused organization
• Provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment, and sustainment
• Act as a trusted partner to a digital engineering-driven Air Force organization
• Perform requirements verification activities, including Risk Management, and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
• Manage internal program requirements
• Analyze DOORS data modules and CAMEO/SysML models
• Prepare critical reports for System Qualification
• Serve as a key interface with the Prime Contractor to ensure alignment with U.S. Government intent regarding requirements products and artifacts
• Consult regularly with the USAF System Program Office (SPO) on stakeholder needs
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
• Master's Degree preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree

• Direct experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems preferred
• Experience with MBSE and Dassault's Cameo or other MBSE tools (Rhapsody, etc.) preferred
• Experience with Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) preferred
• Experience with Risk Management preferred
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS preferred
• Experience with SysML preferred

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Active Secret clearance with willingness/ability to obtain a Top Secret required
• Candidates with Top Secret clearance will be given preference

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms

• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)

Salary:

The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
