Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. seeks a systems engineer to support a national security-critical Sentinel weapon system across development, deployment, and sustainment.

You will join a high-performing team, help manage internal program requirements, and perform architectural duties to align policies, user needs, cost, and integration. Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering/science, Master’s preferred, 3+ years with Bachelor or 2+ with Master, and active Secret clearance with TS willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree.
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS required.
• Direct experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems preferred.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo or other MBSE tools preferred.
• Experience with TPMs preferred.
• Experience with Risk Management preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Experience with SysML preferred.

Expertise and Functions

• Aid in managing internal program requirements for Sentinel program
• Perform architectural duties in support of the program including, but not limited to, the following:
• Developing and implementing policies to ensure systems meet the business requirements
• Defining systems requirements based on user needs, cost, and integration
• Defining technical standards and functionality tests
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
• Master’s Degree preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS required
• Direct experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems preferred
• Experience with MBSE and Dassault’s Cameo or other MBSE tools (Rhapsody, etc.) preferred
• Experience with Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) preferred
• Experience with Risk Management preferred
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
• Experience with SysML preferred

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Active Secret clearance with willingness/ability to obtain a Top Secret required
• Candidates with Top Secret clearance will be given preference

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms

• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)

• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary:

The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
