RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Signal and Sensor Modeling for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will develop physics-based modeling solutions in the DoD Space domain, focusing on EO/IR/RF, energy transport, and AI-enabled hardware design and testing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write maintainable C++ models, and mentor peers while advancing novel EO/RF modeling capabilities in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C++ and object-oriented software design.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python for data evaluation.
• Unix/Linux or macOS/Windows command line experience.
• Experience in EO/RF domains (EO/IR/RF, radar, energy transport).
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
