RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer in Tucson, AZ for an onsite role focused on physics-based modeling in the EO/IR/RF domain to support AI algorithms and hardware design.

You will develop new C++ models, deploy EO/RF phenomenology, and collaborate across teams to deliver advanced software solutions. A STEM degree with 2+ years' experience and the ability to obtain interim clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux or Apple OS or Windows DOS command line.
• Experience in electro-optics or in radar processing, Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing and/or discrimination algorithms.
• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
