RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer for an onsite Tucson, AZ role. You will build physics-based models in the DoD Space domain, focusing on EO/IR/RF technologies to support energy transport and AI-driven hardware solutions.

You will work with a close-knit team to deploy modeling solutions, contribute to software across languages, and mentor peers while enabling customers’ success in a challenging defense environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented design in C++/C and MATLAB or Python.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, macOS, or Windows command line.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
