Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will join a team delivering high fidelity simulations supporting missile design, performance assessment, and flight test activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong C/C++ and Python/MATLAB skills. Interim Secret clearance is required, with potential for higher program access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience applying object-oriented software design and programming in C or C++.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience modeling or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, and/or analysis for engineering solutions.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel on simulation activities.
• Develop approaches and solutions across product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
