Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry level Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer II to create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support. You will work with a team of engineering professionals to develop and validate simulation products across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a master’s degree in STEM and experience with C++, C, MATLAB, and Python for data evaluation, with collaboration across Guidance,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, (STEM) obtained by start date
• Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB and Python for evaluation of data sets
• Experience developing or simulating physical systems
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
• Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework or projects

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
• Develop and implement modeling solutions and conduct trade studies on system performance
• Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel
• Develop documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership
