Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role involves developing high-fidelity simulations across missile design, performance, and flight tests.

You will collaborate with GNC, signal processing, and other teams to deliver robust models and analyses for ongoing programs. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and strong C/C++ with Python or MATLAB experience; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Experience with object-oriented design and programming in C/C++.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Experience modeling or simulating physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies on system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and performance teams per program schedule.
• Develop approaches across multiple projects from concept to fielded product.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and interact with government counterparts.
