Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to join our Performance Simulation teams. You will develop high fidelity simulations for missile design, evaluate system performance, and collaborate across GNC, Signal Processing, and other engineering disciplines.

You will work onsite in Tucson, contribute to multi-disciplinary programs, and help guide the product lifecycle from concept to fielded solutions, with a clear pathway to more advanced simulations and

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience.
• Experience with object-orientated, C, or C++ software programming.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience modeling, simulating, and/or analysis of physical systems.
• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date with U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, and evaluate system and subsystem performance.
• Collaborate with team members and provide guidance as needed.
• Coordinate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance staff to perform simulation activities per program schedule.
• Work on multiple projects, develop approaches, and guide development through the product lifecycle.
