Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to join our on-site team in Tucson, AZ. You will develop high-fidelity simulations, support missile design, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering groups to drive program success.

The role requires a STEM degree and experience in modeling, simulation, and programming in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB. Interim Secret clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required for this DoD-focused position.

Qualifications

• Requires an Engineering/Science/Math STEM degree.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++ software.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Experience modeling, simulating, or analyzing physical systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies on system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other engineers across programs.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and assist in roadmaps and plans.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams from concept to fielded product.
