Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC. is seeking a Systems Engineer I in Appleton, Wisconsin to support server, storage, workstation, cloud, and application environments.

You will assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while documenting work and supporting capacity initiatives under senior guidance. The role emphasizes incident and change management, professional client communication, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors, with after-hours on-call rotations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of IT support, help desk, or systems administration experience.
• Foundational knowledge of virtualization, server administration, cloud technologies, endpoint support, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ITIL and service management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer support and technical assistance for Impact Networking customer environments.
• Handle incidents, change orders, and service requests by restoring service and documenting work.
• Monitor infrastructure and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Document technical work and track time in HaloPSA with evidence and resolutions.
• Communicate ticket status clearly to customers and ensure follow-through.
