Job Overview

The Systems Design Engineer performs engineering support activities for integrated systems of Conair auxiliary equipment products. This position reports to the Project Engineering Manager and is located in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilize CAD systems to generate 2-D and 3-D drawings to convey desired configurations of equipment and interconnecting piping.
2. Conceptualize equipment placement, orientation, piping runs, and wiring runs to generate CAD drawings for installation in customer facilities.
3. Travel periodically to customer sites, both pre- and post-order, to gather critical information for bidding and installation of engineered systems.
4. Assist in specifying outside purchased equipment/components related to mechanical applications, such as tubing packages, silos, and cyclone packages.
5. Create silo orientation drawings and communicate technically with storage vendors.
6. Support Project Managers with project documentation, utilizing revision control through final signoff.
7. Help Project Managers verify systems orders for proper integration to ensure successful installations.
8. Generate bills of materials and similar documentation for auxiliary systems.
9. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment.
