Navius Technologies LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator 2 to provide Tier I and II IT support in a mission-focused environment at Annapolis Junction, MD. The role emphasizes UNIX and Windows administration and proactive system optimization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Deep expertise in UNIX and Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and mobile devices.
• Strong capacity planning, performance tuning, and diagnostics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier II (Escalation) IT support.
• Manage daily configuration, operation, and monitoring of IT systems across devices.
• Support end users with system access and usage guidance.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization through proactive monitoring and analysis.
• Perform capacity planning and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide in‑depth analysis to management and customers.
• Remain engaged during resolution of dispatch system and hardware issues.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, including OS installations.
• Maintain system and network integrity while implementing improvements.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
