Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks a Systems Administrator to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain critical IT infrastructure supporting defense and intelligence missions in Maryland. You will handle Tier 1 help desk, Tier 2 escalations, and configure UNIX/Linux and Windows systems for reliability and uptime.

Experience in enterprise environments, network/hardware configuration, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure across client, server, storage, and network devices.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve end-user and complex infrastructure escalations.
• Hands-on OS administration for UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience troubleshooting network components and hardware dispatch workflows.
• Ability to communicate system status to leadership and technical users.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations supporting defense and intelligence missions.
• Provide Tier 1 help desk and Tier 2 escalation support.
• Configure and maintain UNIX/Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and reliability, implement system enhancements.
