Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture seeks a Systems Administrator to oversee IT infrastructure, cloud services, identity systems, and endpoint management. You’ll ensure reliable operations, troubleshoot effectively, and implement improvements across multiple offices.

The role requires 3+ years in systems administration, strong Windows/M365 expertise, and proficiency with Intune and PowerShell for automation. Travel to other offices is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of systems administration experience across servers, identity, endpoints, and infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, security, backup, and recovery concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, cloud services, virtualization platforms, storage, backups, and core IT systems.
• Develop and automate packaging and deployment of complex applications including Autodesk AEC suite.
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and identity services.
• Support endpoint management, patching, OS configuration, device compliance, and lifecycle processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security; perform upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
• Escalate complex issues with root-cause analysis and clear communication.
