Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage the IT infrastructure, cloud services, identity systems, and endpoint management. You will ensure reliable operations and provide hands-on technical support across multiple offices.

The role emphasizes security, patching, and system improvements, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor help desk staff. Travel to other office locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in systems administration, including server, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.
• Proficiency in IT infrastructure concepts, networking, security, backup, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, cloud services, virtualization platforms, storage, backups, and core IT systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, user access controls, group management, and identity services.
• Support endpoint management, patching, OS configuration, device compliance, lifecycle processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, security; perform upgrades, patching, remediation, maintenance.
• Provide escalation support and guidance to help desk technicians.
• Travel to other office locations as needed.
