Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is seeking a Systems Administrator to oversee the administration, security, and support of the firm’s IT infrastructure, cloud services, identity systems, and endpoint management. This role ensures reliable technology operations and provides expert troubleshooting, system enhancements, and project implementation.

You will administer servers, manage identity services, support patching and OS configuration, and monitor system health across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise software across multiple offices, including packaging, deployment automation, testing, troubleshooting, security, and compliance.
• Three or more years of systems administration experience including server, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge including networking, hardware, software, security, backup, and recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, cloud services, virtualization, storage, backups.
• Manage identity services including Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Support endpoint management, patching, OS configuration, and lifecycle processes.
• Monitor system health and security; perform upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide guidance to help desk and escalate complex issues.
