Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture seeks a Systems Administrator to manage and secure the organization’s IT infrastructure across offices. Responsibilities include server management, cloud services, Active Directory and Endpoints, and deploying complex applications such as Autodesk AEC suite.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT or related field, 3+ years in systems administration, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Travel to other offices is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three+ years of experience in systems administration across servers, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, cloud services, virtualization platforms, storage, backups, and core IT systems.
• Develop and automate packaging and deployment of applications, including Autodesk AEC suite.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, user access controls, and identity services.
• Support endpoint management, patch management, OS configuration, device compliance, and lifecycle processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, security, and reliability; address issues proactively.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues with root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
