Job summary

NextGen Security LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced electronic security installation technician to join our fast-growing team. You will install field cabling and equipment, perform system programming, and handle project activation and commissioning on client sites.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on installation experience with electronic access control, IP-based video management systems, and strong networking skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of installation experience in the security industry.
• Experience with electronic access control systems and IP-based VMS.
• Networking and IT knowledge required.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Whatwe’relooking for:

An experienced electronic security installation technicianto joinour fast growing and dynamic team.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

• Physically installing Field cabling and field equipment

• Some System programming

• Project activation and commissioning

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with installing andmaintaining:

• Electronic access control systems.

• IP-Based video management systems

• Networking and IT knowledge.

• Ability to safelyoperatea company vehicle.

• Superior problem solving and communication skills.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.

• Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.

• Experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Work, Excel Etc.

Preferred

• Access Control System Vendor Certifications in Software House, Genetec, ProWatch and/or Lenel or similar.

• Video Management System Vendor Certifications in Genetec,OnSSI,MaxPro, and/or Milestone or similar.

• Intrusion Detection System Vendor Certifications inSenstar/Optellios, and/or FFT.

• Experience in computer operating systems, networkdesignand implementation.

• TWIC Cardholder.
