Job summary

NextGen Security LLC is seeking an entry-level electronic security installation technician to join our growing team. The candidate should have 1–2 years of installation experience in the security industry or a technical/electrical background.

Training will begin locally in the Houston region before extensive travel to customer sites across the country. The role offers a company vehicle, full benefits package, paid vacation, and a cellphone allowance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of installation experience in security or a technical/electrical background.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain enterprise-level access control systems.
• Manage intrusion detection systems (IDS) and IP-based video management systems.
• Demonstrate networking/IT knowledge and safe work practices in plant environments.

We are in search of an electronic securityinstallationtechnician to join our fast growing and dynamic team.This position will train locally to the Houstonregion before starting to extensively travel to customer sites around the country.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

Installing andmaintaining:

• Enterprise-level access control systems.
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
• Enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based).
• Networking and IT knowledge.
• Superior problem solving and communication skills.
• Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
• Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
