Job summary

NextGen Security, a Dallas-based electronic security systems integrator, is seeking an entry-level Installer to join our growing team. The role trains locally in the Dallas region before extensive travel to customer sites nationwide.

You will install and maintain enterprise-level access control, IDS, and IP video systems, while applying networking and IT knowledge. A background in electronics or related field with strong problem solving and communication skills is valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain enterprise-level access control systems.
• Install and maintain IDS (fiber and copper based) and IP-based video management systems.
• Develop and manage networking and IT components for security systems.
• Demonstrate superior problem solving and communication with clients and team.
• Familiarize with local electronic security codes and industry standards; work safely in a chemical plant environment.
