SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based solutions within a government hosting facility on-site at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

The role requires an active Secret clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret and a strong background in RMF/STIG/ACAS compliance and DoD guidance. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining hardware, VMs, containers, backups, access control, and security posture, along with agile planning and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in system administration.
• Experience with RMF, STIG, and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting environments.
• Deploy and maintain hardware infrastructure including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on physical and virtual hosts.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software on servers/workstations.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation and provide customer support based on DoD guidelines.
• Ensure DoD guidance on security posture and continuous monitoring.
• Participate in Agile project planning.
• Provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure.
