Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Resident within 50 miles of Sumter facility; no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by complying with all policies, including proper use of PPE and operation of equipment, and performing 5S duties.
• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using drawings/diagrams/blueprints and join components to meet specifications.
• Utilize hand tools to accurately install material by following established procedures.
• Monitor progress and communicate shortages or problems affecting production schedules.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and perform root-cause analysis for quality or production issues.
• Perform quality checks with visual inspections before and after assembly and address nonconforming parts.
