Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a SWBD - BUS Assembler (B-Shift) in Sumter, SC. The role runs Monday-Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am, with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour.

You will assemble switchboards using hand and power tools, following drawings and BOMs, to manufacture custom orders while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be legally authorized to work in the US, and be able to work within 50 miles of Sumter; no relocation

• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using hand and power tools.
• Follow drawings/diagrams/blueprints to manufacture custom switchboards.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Identify missing components from BOMs and instructions.
• Proactively suggest process improvements and perform root-cause analyses.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot nonconforming parts.
