Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a SWBD – BUS Assembler (B-Shift) in Sumter, SC. Expect a 3:00pm–1:00am schedule, Monday–Thursday, with a base hourly rate of $17.25. You will read drawings and install components using hand and power tools in a safe, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include quality checks, adherence to 5S and Lean principles, and potential cross-training. High school diploma or GED required and US work authorization essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence within 50 miles of Sumter facility.
• Experience with drawings/diagrams preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and measurement devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards using hand and power tools from drawings/diagrams/blueprints.
• Communicate and collaborate with team to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Follow procedures for proper installation and material handling.
• Maintain progress and identify part shortages or issues in the production line.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and perform root cause analysis.
