Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is seeking a SWBD - Production Associate Set‑up for 1st shift, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. You will assemble switchboards using hand and power tools, following drawings and blueprints in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.75 per hour and eligibility for a variable incentive program. Candidates must reside within the Sumter area (50‑mile radius) and be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility
• Experience with measuring devices (tape measure, calipers)
• Experience reading blueprints or manufacturing drawings or diagrams

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards using hand and power tools according to drawings/diagrams/blueprints
• Follow established procedures and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Identify missing components and communicate issues promptly
• Cross-train and cover other roles when needed
• Proactively identify process improvements and root causes for quality issues
