Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for a Swing shift (12:00pm–9:00pm). You will ship, receive, stock finished goods, and prepare pallets for customer orders using our ERP system.

Responsibilities include labeling, packing, safety, and maintaining clean work areas. Requires high school diploma, forklift certification, and DOT HazMat training; prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification required; DOT HazMat training may be required per hire.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, or logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet (70%).
• Create and apply shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading) for each pallet/shipment (10%).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; other duties as assigned (10%).
