Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Shipper/Receiver in Salt Lake City, UT. You will ship, receive, stock, and palletize finished goods to fulfill customer orders using ERP/tablet systems. You will tag, store, and rotate inventory while ensuring packaging and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include creating shipping documents, maintaining safety, and performing other duties as assigned. This swing shift role offers growth in a trusted manufacturer known for durable building solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment operable: forklift, reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack.
• Prior safety-conscious practices and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming/outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product; identify/tag/store finished inventory.
• Create and apply documents: shipping labels, packing lists, bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
