Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Kent, WA is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to handle shipping, receiving and stocking finished goods to fulfill customer orders. The role requires forklift certification, DOT HazMat training, and one year of warehouse experience.

You will operate ERP/tablet systems to process shipments, ensure accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while following company policies. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product.
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory.
• Create and apply documents for each pallet/shipment (packing list, bills of lading).
