Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Santa Ana. You will oversee daily operations, lead staff, and ensure safety and quality of instruction while fostering a fun, positive workplace culture.

Training occurs at the Santa Ana location through December 2026, then relocation to Yorba Linda. You’ll recruit and mentor staff, coordinate scheduling and customer service, and drive engagement with families and the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a management/supervisory role.
• Experience as lifeguard, swim instructor, youth coach, or childcare provider.
• Certifications in Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED, and CPO or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day swim school operations per SOPs.
• Lead staff, support families, maintain safety and quality.
• Recruit, train, and mentor new staff.
• Ensure high-quality swim instruction and preparedness.
• Manage staff events and engagement activities.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Oversee retail and vending areas; inventory and pricing.
• Maintain Emergency Action Plan and safety standards.
