Job summary

SafeSplash San Ramon is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of patrons by maintaining constant surveillance of the pool area and responding to emergencies with trained first aid and CPR/AED as required.

You will also help maintain a clean facility and supervise the pool according to American Red Cross standards, while supporting a flexible schedule and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
• Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer.
• Previous swim instruction experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Ensure the pool area is properly supervised and attended in accordance with American Red Cross standards.
