Job summary

Streamline Brands is seeking a Lifeguard for SafeSplash + SwimLabs Waukee to ensure patron safety and quick emergency response. The role involves constant surveillance, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, supervised pool environment.

Ideal candidates hold Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications, with preferred experience in swim instruction. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED for adult, infant and swimmer.
• Previous swim instruction experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of pool patrons and act immediately to ensure safety during emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrives.
• Keep the facility clean and safe by performing required duties.
• Ensure the pool area is supervised and attended per Red Cross standards.

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
