Job summary

A local swim school franchise in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Lifeguard who is passionate about swimming and safety. As a Lifeguard, you'll maintain a safe environment for patrons while being responsible for surveillance and emergency response. Ideal candidates should possess current Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications and have previous swim instruction experience. Qualifications

• Maintain current Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications.
• Previous swim instruction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care and treatment as needed.

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is required
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
