SafeSplash Temple in Temple, Texas, seeks a passionate Lifeguard to provide a safe environment for our patrons. Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification for adults, infants, and swimmers.
• Previous swim instruction experience is required.
• Must successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; respond immediately to emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until emergency medical services arrive.
• Perform duties to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Ensure the pool area is supervised according to American Red Cross standards.

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is required
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
