Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School, San Ramon is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills following our curriculum in a fun, safe environment for students of varying ages.

You will provide positive feedback, structure class time, and ensure constant supervision for swimmer safety. Prior instruction is preferred; we offer training and help with CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
