Job summary

Stout is seeking a Senior Vice President in Chicago to lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients. You will guide quality-of-earnings analyses, working capital assessments, and risk reviews, delivering strategic insights and clear recommendations to management and deal teams.

You will oversee analysts, coordinate with client management, and contribute to business development while upholding Stout’s Relentless Excellence ethos.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervising analysts and associates to ensure efficient project execution.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and administrative tasks.
• Identify key risks and potential deal breakers during due diligence.
• Analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, operating data).
• Synthesize data into observations and conclusions.
• Produce due diligence reports for findings communication.
• Lead due diligence calls with client and target company management.
