Job summary

Storm4 is seeking a VP/SVP Site Selection & Land Acquisition to drive site selection and land acquisition for large-scale hyperscale data center campuses. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating and securing major development sites while partnering with executive leadership to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Direct data center site selection and land acquisition experience.
• 10+ years' experience in data center development, site selection or land acquisition.
• Strong understanding of entitlements, zoning, permitting and development processes.
• Experience evaluating power infrastructure requirements for hyperscale developments.
• Ability to structure and negotiate complex land transactions.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience working with developers, operators or hyperscale data center providers.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site selection and land acquisition efforts across strategic growth markets.
• Source, evaluate and secure hyperscale development opportunities.
• Manage landowner negotiations, purchase agreements and acquisition processes.
• Drive entitlement, zoning and permitting activities through to approval.
• Assess power, water, fibre and infrastructure availability for prospective sites.
• Partner with utilities, municipalities, consultants and brokers throughout due diligence.
• Evaluate project feasibility, development risk and market attractiveness.
• Present recommendations and investment cases to senior leadership.
