Job summary

SimplyHired is seeking a seasoned Site Selection Lead to identify and acquire data center sites across the United States. You will develop and execute the site selection strategy, evaluate power, fiber, land, water, permitting and market fundamentals, and negotiate land purchases and incentive agreements.

You will partner with Development, Power, Engineering, and Legal teams to move projects from origination to development, and build relationships with utilities, brokers, and economic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Business, Planning or related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in site selection, real estate development, or data center development.
• Proven ability to secure sites across the US for large-scale data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation, and acquisition of sites for hyperscale and AI data center developments across the US.
• Develop and execute the site's selection strategy, assessing power, fiber, land, water, permitting, and market fundamentals.
• Negotiate land purchases, ground leases, option agreements, and incentive packages with landowners and utilities.
