Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Operations Manager to guide the safe, cost-effective operation of the Thermomechanical Treatment Facility. You will manage an Operations Supervisor and shift supervisors, coordinating with business and supply chain teams to align schedules with customer needs.

The role requires extensive plant operations experience, strong leadership, and a track record of driving continuous improvement and safety across a complex facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of plant operations supervisory/managerial experience.
• Experience in power plant operations or high‑pressure boiler systems.
• Proven leadership and ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ASME QRO/CFO certification desirable or ability to qualify within six months of employment.
• Familiarity with CMMS for ordering/cost/work order administration.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations, hold people accountable, and role model Reworld values and Behaviors to ensure a safe and inclusive workplace.
• Deliver safety leadership to ensure no accidents and no harm to people or environment, and ensure permit compliance.
• Provide leadership to keep boiler and turbine performance at optimal levels.
• Translate strategy into actionable operations and improvement plans with KPIs.
• Contribute to 3–5 year planning aligning with business strategy.
• Communicate and implement Operations Department objectives and progress.
• Develop resource plans and manage employee relations/engagement.
• Champion continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead learning, development, and performance efforts in operations.
