Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF) in Virginia. The role supervises an Operations Supervisor and shift teams, coordinating with the supply chain to meet customer needs while maintaining a safe, efficient operation.

You will drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma, in a leadership role focused on people development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical preferred.
• 10+ years of plant operations supervisory/managerial experience.
• Experience in power plant operations or high-pressure boiler operations.
• Demonstrated leadership with diverse teams.
• ASME QRO/CFO certification desirable or able to qualify within six months.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations and model company values to ensure a safe, inclusive workplace.
• Lead safety leadership to ensure no accidents and permit compliance.
• Oversee boiler and turbine performance to maintain optimal operation.
• Translate business strategy into actionable operations and KPIs.
• Develop long-term plans and coordinate with supply chain teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Coach and develop personnel and lead organizational change.
