Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF) in Virginia. You will provide strategic and operational direction for safe, cost-effective plant operation and oversee a team including an Operations Supervisor and Shift Supervisors.

Responsibilities include implementing KPI-driven performance, safety leadership, and continuous improvement through Six Sigma and Lean, while partnering with supply chain to meet customer needs and execute long-term plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent; accounting for 10+ years supervisory/managerial experience in plant operations is acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Experience in power plant operations or high-pressure boiler operations with strong understanding of plant systems.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills across diverse teams including contractors.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders; ability to energize teams and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations and model values to ensure a safe, inclusive workplace; deliver results with trust.
• Provide EH&S leadership to ensure no accidents or harm to people and environment.
• Lead KPI development and 3–5 year planning aligned to business strategy.
• Oversee boiler/turbine performance and maintenance planning; manage resources and relations.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma/Lean and coach staff for development.
