Job summary

PAE is offering a Mechanical Engineering Intern position across multiple U.S. offices, including San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Boston, Denver, Portland, and Los Angeles.

The 10 to 12 week paid program provides hands-on experience in sustainable building design with mentorship and real project exposure. You will work on CAD and Revit, energy modeling, HVAC layouts, and site visits while learning the PAE and LUMA approach.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in sustainable building design and energy systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CAD and Revit modeling for design projects.
• Support energy modeling and basic design calculations.
• Contribute to HVAC layouts and building systems design.
• Participate in site visits and construction administration.
• Assist with data collection/analysis (EUI, WUI) and documentation.
