Job summary

PAE is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in multiple office locations, including New York, NY. The 10 to 12 week paid program provides hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design and building systems, working with architecture and engineering teams.

You’ll gain exposure to CAD/Revit, energy modeling, design calculations, and site visits, while supporting project timelines and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergrad preferred in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in sustainable design and building design.
• Effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• CAD and Revit applications as part of design tasks.
• Energy modeling and calculations for HVAC and building systems.
• Site observation and coordination with engineering teams.
• Support design calculations and energy/water data analysis.
• Assist with project timelines and documentation.
