Job summary

PAE offers a Mechanical Engineering Intern role in a hands-on, sustainability-focused environment. The internship spans 10–12 weeks and provides exposure to building systems design, energy modeling, and CAD/Revit work.

Interns collaborate with engineering teams on HVAC, plumbing, and energy efficiency projects across multiple offices, gaining practical experience from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Desire to work in the Building Design industry.
• Passionate about sustainable design solutions.
• HVAC (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• CAD and Revit
• Energy modeling

• Design layout of HVAC ductwork, hydronic, and plumbing
• Construction administration and site visits
• Weather and climatic data gathering, support on eco-charrettes
• Energy and water data (EUI, WUI) analysis
