Job summary

PAE is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for multiple US offices, including Denver. The program offers hands-on experience in sustainable design, with tasks ranging from CAD and Revit to energy modeling and HVAC layout.

Interns work within engineering teams on projects from planning to occupancy, gaining exposure to Living Buildings and high-performance design. You will participate in site visits, commissioning support, and data analysis, while learning PAE's design and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing 3rd year in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Interest in building design and sustainable solutions.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD and Revit tasks for project designs.
• Conduct energy modeling and design calculations.
• Assist with HVAC layout and design documentation.
• Support site visits, commissioning, and data gathering.
• Assist with cost estimates and M/E coordination.
